Liliya is a Bulgarian illustrator, currently based in Brussels. Visual storytelling is the essence of her work. Drawing inspiration from the Jugendstil movement, she employs graphic yet fluid linework to create illustrations that translate complex ideas into simple, powerful narratives.

Still, in her own words, the aesthetics in the lines and composition are what she aims for, even if sometimes the actual stories hidden in them do not get crystal clear, but rather stay known only to her.
